Sophomore Expectations for GEOINT 2012

For my second visit to the GEOINT Exposition, my expectations are a bit higher this time around.

Last year, I was amazed at the range of security applications and solutions showcased so I’m excited to see the latest and greatest products out there at the USA’s largest intelligence event of the year.

I’m also always interested to see the variety of ways our data here at exactEarth is being used across so many platforms.  As a data services company, there is no greater satisfaction to learn about the plethora of ways customers are using our data for so many different and unique applications.  With the bulk of the Expo agenda concentrating on Geospatial interoperability and creating new standards for open source information sharing, I think this is a great time to be in the business we’re in.  This year the Expo is also offering Tech Talks focused solely on interoperability and as newly appointed OGC members, I’ll definitely be interested in attending those sessions.

Also, I heard this year with the Expo being held in Orlando, they’re offering free shuttles to Disney.  Who can beat that?
